Meet Melissa
Over 25 years of running professional kitchens. Six years of moving families.
Before founding Generational Transitions in 2020, Melissa Darr spent more than two decades leading culinary operations, including over seven years as a Division Chef at Lowes Foods and as Director of Food Services at several private schools in North Carolina and Virginia. That career was built on logistics, inventory, training staff, and keeping complex projects calm under real-world pressure.
Those instincts now go into every client’s home. The result is a process that feels less like a frantic week of packing and more like a well-run operation, with you in the loop at every step.
